Marianne Demakis is one of the most enthusiastic people you will ever meet, and that enthusiasm carries over into her love of real estate. Marianne’s greatest assets to her clients are honesty, commitment, and determination, with her ultimate goal being to make her clients real estate dreams become a reality.
Marianne started her career as a Speech Pathologist with a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and a Masters of Arts from Northeastern University. Subsequent to that, Marianne started a marketing and events company, providing consulting services to start-up and mid-tier companies on their marketing needs including all aspects of design, promotion and event planning. Most recently, Marianne spent the last ten years at Curry College as Director of Conferences and Events; where she hosted a variety of events, including summer residential programs with hundreds of attendees from national and international organizations. The qualities she honed through these roles include effectively working with a wide range of people, being a good listener and communicator, creative problem solving, attention to detail, and commitment to her clients—attributes that have led to her successful career in real estate.
In addition to helping grow Demakis Family Real Estate, Marianne resides in Mattapoisett with her husband Pete and spends her free time with her large family, including her two children and three grandchildren. She loves exploring the beauty of the South Coast, is a member of numerous walking and hiking groups, and loves to travel both in the US and abroad. Marianne also volunteers for Women’s Fund SouthCoast. The Women’s Fund SouthCoast supports and sponsors social change that advances economic security and financial independence for women and girls in our region.
Marianne will go above and beyond to assist you with your real estate needs, and she looks forward to building relationships with clients that will last a lifetime.
