In the village of Woods Hole sits multiple world-renowned oceanic research organizations, including the Marine Biological Laboratory, NOAA National Marine Fisheries, Sea Education Association and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, as well as Woods Hole Science Aquarium, the oldest aquarium in the nation. Additionally, Woods Hole is home to the Steamship Authority which offers ferry rides to and from Martha’s Vineyard daily.

For those looking to embrace their inner athlete, Falmouth boasts more public golf courses than any other New England town, in addition to its expansive recreation and senior centers with leagues for residents of all ages and skill levels. Unique to the area, the Cape Cod Curling Club resides in Falmouth and is the only location on the Cape to try everyone’s favorite Winter Olympic game.
